The knowledge experts at Team Med Global are slated to present two forward-thinking sessions at NAMSS’ 43rd Educational Conference & Exhibition, which will be held October 21-23, 2019, in Philadelphia. According to TMG President Donna Goestenkors, CPMSM®, “We’re thrilled to be returning to the NAMSS conference with timely, actionable information.”
Team Med Global’s first presentation, “Payer Enrollment Table Talk,” will address the issues that are top-of-mind for MSPs. “We designed a survey in order to drill down and discover MSPs’ pain points,” said Goestenkors. “We found some commonalities, but surfaced many differences.” As a result, the presenters designed a first-of-its-kind group learning session. “MSPs will huddle with experienced colleagues to discuss current industry trends, share best practices for handling unique challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement,” she said. In this session, Goestenkors will be joined by TMG table facilitators Larry DeHoyos, CPCS®; Nicole Keller, MSHM, CPHQ, CPHIT; Stephanie Russell, BS, CPCS®, CPMSM®; Yesenia Servin, CPMSM®; and Wendi Stivers, BS.
“Locum Tenens SWOT Team,” Team Med Global’s second presentation, builds upon the hugely successful TMG session held at the NAMSS 2018 conference. “We heard MSPs’ frustration with locums loud and clear,” said Goestenkors. “Last year, attendees had a chance to vent and share their experiences. This year, we’re focused on solutions.” During the session, TMG’s experienced SWOT team will deliver information about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting the locum tenens field and offer best practices for MSPs working with locums agencies and physicians. Goestenkors will facilitate the discussion. Panelists include Susan Collier, MHA; Tammy Pressnall, CPMSM®, CPCS®; Darren Shafer, MD; and Tammy Hager.
Goestenkors, who is a past president of NAMSS, is looking forward to reuniting with colleagues and creating new connections. “It’s both exciting and satisfying to see our industry continue to grow and strive for excellence,” she said. “MSPs have an unparalleled desire to learn and to lead. I couldn’t be prouder of my profession.”
Both TMG sessions will be held on October 21, 2019.
